Create archives

Create clean, encrypted ZIP files.

Choose compression, add an AES-256 password, and decide whether selected items belong in one archive or separate ZIP files. Exclude presets keep macOS metadata and project build folders out of the result.

Edit archive contents

Change a ZIP without extracting and rebuilding it by hand.

Available actions match the archive you opened, so unsupported edits are never presented as if they will work.

Open an entry with its default Mac app, make a change, and save the updated file back into a regular ZIP.

QuikZip recognizes archive, compressed-stream, package, disk-image, executable, and document-container formats. The capability view shows whether each route can list, preview, extract, create, or edit, because not every format supports the same operations.
